Shoppers tell you what they want. Picklist writes it down.

A saved product is a shopper naming something they intend to buy. Picklist collects those saves — from guests as well as customers — emails people when a saved product comes back or gets cheaper, and shows you which products are wanted but not selling.

Free plan. No account needed to save. No theme code to edit.

What a shopper does

Four things, none of which require an account, a password or a decision about email before they have saved anything.

  1. Saves a product

From a product page or straight off a collection card. As a guest, if they want — the list is theirs immediately.

  2. Is asked for an email, after

Once they have already saved something, not before. Asking first is where wishlists lose people.

  3. Signs in later, keeps everything

The guest list is merged into the account list on first sign-in. Nothing saved is lost by registering.

  4. Gets told when it matters

An email when a saved product is back in stock or has dropped in price. Not a newsletter — a reason to return.

What you get to see

Most wishlist apps report what is popular. The more useful question is what is stuck.

Wanted and sold out

Products near the top of the demand ranking with no stock. That is a restocking decision with the demand already counted, and a list of people to email the moment it lands.

Wanted, in stock, unsold

Saved repeatedly, available, bought by nobody. That is usually a price question, sometimes a shipping one, and it is invisible in ordinary analytics.

Who you can actually reach

How many savers you have an email address for, because that is the number that decides whether any of the rest can be acted on.

Built to stay out of the way

Wishlist apps have a reputation for slowing storefronts down and holding data hostage. These are the decisions taken against that.

  • One CSS file, one JS fileNo framework, no dependencies, one network call per page load, and state cached in the browser for the session.
  • A theme app extensionNothing is written to your theme. Uninstalling removes the buttons and leaves no code behind to find later.
  • Your data comes with youLists, products and audiences export as CSV on every plan, including free. A Swym export can be imported the same way.
  • Priced by capability, not volumeNo per-save or per-email metering, so the bill does not rise precisely when the app is working.

Plans differ by what is unlocked, not by how busy your month was. Everything already collected stays readable and exportable on any plan, including free. Prices are set at install time in Shopify.

Questions merchants ask

A few more are answered in the full FAQ.

Do shoppers have to create an account to save something?

No, and that is the point. A guest can save straight away, and the list is merged into their account the first time they sign in — so nothing is lost by not asking up front.

Do I have to edit my theme?

No. Picklist is a theme app embed you switch on in the theme editor. It also ships app blocks if you would rather place the button by hand.

Will it slow my storefront down?

It ships one CSS file and one JavaScript file with no dependencies, caches state in the browser for the session, and makes one network call per page load.

What happens to shopper data if I uninstall?

Saved lists are kept so a reinstall does not lose your shoppers' data, and are erased when Shopify sends the shop redaction request after 48 hours. A shopper can be erased individually at any time.
